Job Description:
We require a full-time Software Engineer, willing to work remotely, to be part of a multi-locational product development team.
→ Architecting and developing Enterprise level Ruby on Rails applications using various design Patterns and principles in Ruby
→ Working closely with team and cross collaborate
→ Good analytical aptitude and attention to detail
→ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Must have:
→ Ruby
→ Ruby on Rails
→ HTML5 and CSS
→ JavaScript (AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS)
→ SQL and RDBMS concepts (MySQL, Postgres)
→ Git, GitHub, the GitHub flow (pull requests, forking)
→ Ability to work on MAC operating system
→ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Should have:
→ Knowledge of design patterns (GoF, Enterprise)
→ Knowledge of Cloud, AWS et al
→ Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence)
→ Familiarity with lightweight development processes (e.g. Scrum)
→ Understanding of test-driven development, behavior-driven development and continuous integration
→ Experience with Linux
→ Experience in creation and security of REST APIs
→ Ability to produce deliverables with minimal guidance
